As a result of the Government’s actions, including the termination of the Concession Contract for Exploitation in Kazandol, Sardich MC has been unable to satisfy its obligations to its contractors and partners, who were forced to go to court and initiate bankruptcy proceedings against it.
On 1 March 2019, the Primary Court Skopje II decided to open a bankruptcy procedure in relation to Sardich MC, and all assets acquired and produced during the Project’s lifetime are managed today by the bankruptcy administrator appointed by the Court.
